Maxed out |
Next week we will have the portable drugs inspector waiting for “Motoring
Millie”. Where did that ride come from?
Having sold his TT
bike, Mr P was using a set of clip on bars on a road bike, did you see those
pistons for legs up the finish? Somehow he looks a little out of proportion,
with legs the size of my waist.
Last week’s winner was pegged back Mr Fallon jnr a little
this week with Maximus Suff tying with him. Will be interesting to see what
happens next week.
First road bike home was hill climb specialist Adam Taylor
with Gannet Johnny (no I'm not saying he eats to much) a mere 3 seconds behind him.
Now if I could get up those
hills you’d all be in trouble. Little Fallon’s face was a peach when he saw
just how close to him I was at the turn. Next week I’ll reverse the situation
and let him chase me down. Fairs fair!
Nick this week had a very good improvement from last week
opening the gap slightly with James, who had a good ride in my opinion. Virgil
opened his season with a good banker time.
Our friend from the North Paul knocked 1:30 off his time,
when asked about it he said” not so fast out, saving energy for the return leg”
He did seem very pleased. John Airey looked good going out; in fact he looked
pretty good coming back. The hill may have just taken its toll though.
Thanks this week go to Paul Fallon timing (was supposed to
be riding), Tim John & Audrey at the turn, with Taff launching everyone
towards Ledbury.
Rider of the night this week goes to Millie, a fine ride from
a more senior rider…….
Next week will be an Old Gore for a change. We have no volunteer
as yet, but will assume John & Audrey will go to the turn as they took the
signs.
Hope Taff & Sarah have recovered from the 90 mile hilly
adventure that turned into a 100 mile sprint.
I need some fresh pics of you all in action. If you have any email them to me.
