Jack Morgan 10 11/7/13

This event brings the pot hunters out, as there’s a nice trophy up for grabs. Talking of which Will’s now added another trophy to his collection. A slight tailwind home helped out slightly on the return leg, Will still recovering with a stomach bug was not happy again with his performance, lacking power.

Top gear action
I’d like to say we gave him a run for the money but alas, we’re making it too easy for him. I have a cunning plan for a downhill race down Bulls Hill in the dark. I suspect he would be beatable. Or a race from pub to pub, drinking a pint of Guinness in each till we have a champion who covers the greatest distance in 4 hours. Sorry, just thinking aloud, Julie would never time it…..

Best of the rest was Millie again, the boy’s been consistent this year, only faltered twice. I had an Ok ride, Taff ever improving as the weeks are rolling by. Season’s end is in sight already. Mike Dunsby, you said you were going to come out to get some value for your season ticket for all events.

Little Fallon was back after his sabbatical, straight on the money. Shame school exams get in the way!

Another old face (needs a haircut) was Radders. Not done any miles he said, not too shabby considering. I think he only turns up for some abuse.

A good battle was brewing between Gazzer Gas Tec and Sarah C. Gazzer just squeezing it by 2 seconds. What I can say was how excited Sarah was to have broken the 20 mph barrier. I think there’s a lot more to come, especially if we can get her into an aerodynamic position. I seriously think with the right kit, there is a 25 minute 10 on Old Gore to be had. Tempted to loan her some good kit!

Apologies if I’ve not mentioned you, my mammories are only so good.

Thanks to Julie timing, John & Audrey doing the turn.

Rider of the Night was Sarah. Just like watching a small child in a sweet shop with her first sub 30 10.
